 Chapter One
The history of the Storm Hammers begins with the official acceptance of Torgar and Falstad, leaders of the GryphonHammers and the High Thane of Wildhammers and Aerie Peak. GryphonHammer clan is on a steady decline and their aging Thane Torgar has lost much of his former adventurous spirit, Wildhammers has lost many brave dwarves recently in the ongoing wars of the Alterac mountains. Refugees from Alterac and the Stormpikes have been trickling in over the recent year, travelling Wildhammers has returned upon their Gryphons (surprisingly many from Kalimdor actually) and many of all these young and high spirited. Aerie Peak is a legendary among dwarves, especially among Wildhammers abroad, but the recent drawbacks to the dwarven city angered them and eventually lead to the founding of a new clan - Storm Hammers, its soul purpose was to bring back the glory to Aerie Peak and all its allies.
Since some of the members of the Storm Hammers hail from the Stormpikes and have long been fiercely loyal to the Bronzebeards of Ironforge it was decided that their newly formed clan would seek the official acceptance of Ironforge and King Magni Bronzebeard. An official letter was sent to Ironforge, hoping that King Magni would see the wisdom of another dwarven allied clan to join the dwarven cause. But old grudges goes deep, the relationship between Wildhammers and Bronzebeards have been frosty for many years and not even a few Stormpike clanners could change that fact. All was not lost however, King Magni wanted proof of their dedication to Ironforge and with the constant Ogre threat in Loch Modan he saw an opportunity arise. Said and done, the Storm Hammers went to the Loch to end the Ogre infestation and after some furious fighting was successful in removing the leader of the Mo'grosh Ogres as well as uncover a infiltration by Dark Irons in the Ironband Excavation site.
