Rools o' tha clan!

We 'ave a few basic rooles aboot who does an' doesn't join our clan and how they behave when they're in it.

1. Ye must perform a small task culminating in a face te face meetin' with an officer o' the Hammers at Aerie Peak in tha' Hinterlands in order te gain entry to tha' clan

2. Ye must 'ave at least 70 seasons under yer belt before askin te join

3. Ye gotta be able te at least speak tha' common tongue te an acceptable level

4. If yer mutha or fatha named ye somethin' silly then donnae bother askin te join (/ooc if you are called leethunter etc you may not join - this is at the discretion of the guild officers)

General Conduct

Yer an ambassador o' tha clan. Any clanner o' the Gryphon Hammers be they dwarf or not should realise that ye are representing tha guild wherever ye go. So whether yer talkin te other Gryphon Hammers, or stranger folk, tha' reputation o' tha clan hangs on yer words and yer actions! /ooc. you must act in character in /say or /yell. Guildchat is not enforced /ic but we encourage it. There are dedicated /ooc and /rp channels for those who wish to be specific. /join ghrp or /join ghooc - please keep guildchat spam to a minimum. If you want to talk about last nights TV then do it in /ghooc and if you want te tell yer life story to all then use /ghrp

Use of yer native tongue (Dwarvish or Gnomish etc) is no bother as long as yer not on missions with folks that dunnae speak yer lingo. This is considered roode and will result in a swift kick up tha' arse from a commandin' officer! Refrain from usin' tha vulgar human curse words too! /ooc. We would ask you not to swear or use foul language in any of the in-game channels as it is not pleasant and can be offensive to some – persistent offenders may be removed from the Guild. Obviously it is in a dwarfs nature to cuss, but please restrict it to RP curses (e.g. “By Baerduns hairy beard!”) rather than using any real-life swear words (you know the words I mean) that may cause offense.

Anyone who doesne stick to tha' rooles gets a sharp word from tha Thane, an if they carry on their bad ways they will be forcibly booted oot tha door!
